Crocus Co-op is a non-profit, charitable, member guided co-operative that works on behalf of people with mental health disabilities. It helps to strengthen the community by helping people to cope and thrive within it.Crocus members are grateful to our major funder the Saskatoon Health Region, and the United Way of Saskatoon and Area for their continued support. This results in a reduced strain on the health care system. It helps to reduce the number of relapses, the severity of relapse and time spent in hospital. Crocus is vital for its members. It was founded by consumers of mental health services as a place of mutual self-help and respect. Crocus is a place to learn, work and heal.Crocus Co-operative is proud of its achievements and has provided cost effective mental health rehabilitation services in Saskatoon since 1983. Crocus is a place where members can find companionship, understanding and support. Mental health issues will affect one in five people directly in our community. With their help and help from other funders and donators Crocus has been able to make a difference in many peoples' lives.
